Welcome to part two in our series of blog posts on some of our favourite customers. This time around we are going to focus on the Essex-based band Looking For Liam.
Looking For Liam formed in October 2010, aged 14 years old. The 3 young founding members showed dedication, commitment and a natural flair for producing and writing their own material. Learning their craft at a local Battle of the Bands, 2011 was a breakthrough year for them, with regular slots in and around the capital, the release of their debut EP and gaining radio coverage on BBC Introducing.
They have recently added a new member, Jordan Spowart. In LFL’s own words, Jordan has added a wealth of talent as well as improving the aesthetics of the band. He’d spent some time with them as a session musician and had always been a pleasure to work with, which is why they extended the invitation to Jordan to join the band permanently, which he happily accepted.
After over 3 years of grafting, gigging & writing, Looking For Liam have been busy in the studio sharpening their tools to piece together their debut album. To celebrate the release of the album, they are giving away the first 500 downloads entirely for free direct from their website. You can stream it direct from the site, or you can find it all on their Soundcloud page.
